oo this one is different. i love the yellow and orange shades and the glow in the sky, such yummy colours! i also love the texture with the bumps of the paper showing through. gee, that electric blue on the tree trunk is gorgeous too. you have made this resonate with such rich colours. the landscape looks a little sombre at first, but then it begins to work with the glow of the sky.

a wonderfully luminous work!

alicja, are you doing these works now, or are they old ones done at some previous time?

love them all so much! keep 'em coming!

This one is done from an old sketch from Provance two days ago, while it was a dark storm here, and I'm not that shure about it - I think I've overdone it quite a bit; still, that's how it felt. Somebody sold me recently a used "daylight" lamp and I'm still trying that glow out - it seems very good for winter nights, but I still don't trust artificial light completely.
I put some drawings that seem to fit the flow into the blogs now, regardless of their chronology, old and new, because I regard this as a sort of introduction of my work in general, for a larger project I'm working on. There is another reason too; the last few years, after we have both had to semi-retire and work at home, I've been mostly moved to portrait mr. Alicja and I don't thing anyone, apart from me, would want to see so many snowy white mustachioes. An exhibition of my new work alone would look like an avalanche -

Thank You for all the good words!!
