sense of place?

copenhagen, but for sheer thrill of discovery and a breeze of a place, go to rambling- http://adamsown.blogspot.com and link to his Flickr pages from there (sorry, didn't know how to do it any simpler), that's Adams photos, and they make me long for Australia URGENTLY - and then feel I've just been there, great !

thank you so much for these flattering comments, you will be raising your expectations of me too high i fear!
i am enjoying rambling on about "sense of place", thank you for prompting that, it had been in my mind that I needed to define how i feel about our wonderful area.
and it is the little things that make a difference - i will try to explain that in my blog.
and i am so pleased that you have posted more art works - yes, they do show a wonderful sense of place.
i visited denmark once a long time ago with the british navy, i was one of the volunteer reserve for a few years. we stopped at a small place - Fredrikshavn it might have been. i only remember two things about it - we were able to use a british coin in the cigarette machines, the coin was a lot less than the proper exchange rate, and visiting a family and we had a wonderful desert made raspberries - rotgrot... something soemthing??
i love your art works, they are so simple and strong, they work wonderfully.
best wishes
adam
that's Denmark in a nutshell ok.
I have a fear of expectations too, and a walk-about is the best cure I know, so I'll run back to Your photos as soon as possible - unless, of course, it stops raining here (had a wonderfull walk last night in the drizzle though - "smirr", was it?).
You lucky people are going to have spring now!
